CAPACITY BUILDING

About

Under the capacity-building vertical of SCBP, the focus is on developing specialized and demand-based courses in sanitation, with an emphasis on decentralized solutions. This includes planning and designing decentralized sanitation systems, effective fecal sludge and septage management, and integrated water and fecal sludge management. SCBP is dedicated to delivering tailored training programs to both state and non-state actors through online and in-person modes.

These training modules are integrated into national flagship programs such as the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) platform, anchored by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), and the National Urban Learning Platform (NULP), anchored by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India (GoI), respectively. These platforms offer a robust online learning environment for urban professionals across India to enhance their expertise in urban planning, management, and service delivery. In-person training is facilitated by capacity-building delivery partners such as Swachhta Knowledge Partners and Academic Training Institutes nationwide, ensuring comprehensive access to training resources, and knowledge collateral, including courses, webinars, and expert-led sessions
