Photo-Story Competition

Under the aegis of Parvat Manthan, the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) in collaboration with the International Council for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and supported by Integrated Mountain Initiative (IMI) and Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association- South Asia (BORDA-SA), has launched a call for entries for a Photo story competition on 'Making the unseen, seen: Stories from the Himalaya' for bachelors and masters level students. Through this competition, the students are expected to narrate the story of the hill cities through photographs capturing issues, problems, indigenous practices, and more falling under the two themes i.e. Water and Waste (sanitation and solid waste).

Entries are expected to convey stories succinctly from the Indian Himalayan Region. The top 3 winners will receive a cash prize and winning entries will be compiled and exhibited in the Regional Workshop conducted by the NIUA.
