Climate-resilient water in Kohima, Nagaland, focusing on traditional wells and decentralized infrastructure. Despite national efforts, only 27% of households access piped water, relying on rainwater, tankers, and community wells. The study highlights infrastructure gaps and the value of indigenous systems. It proposes a multi-tiered plan- policy reform, upgrades, and community engagement to improve water security, equity, and sustainability while supporting local ownership amid urban growth and climate change.
